Grief and Loss
Losing a loved one can change your whole concept of life. Grief unfortunately is universal and incorporates a multitude of emotions as each individual responds differently to grief.Â
Grief can also arise from major life changes, including redundancy, retirement, immigration, divorce, relationship or friendship breakdowns, and loss of identity.
Counselling during loss provides a space to process what has changed and adjust to current circumstances by identifying unhealthy coping patterns in response to grief and provide tools for a healthier way forward.
