Life demands place pressure on individuals, which leads to stress. While some stress is normal, ongoing pressure can lead to overwhelm and burnout. Symptoms of stress include: Aches, pains, headaches, fatigue, trouble sleeping, illness, receiving a diagnosis, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, addiction, anger, sadness, and feelings of being overwhelmed.

It is important to note that stress is not always linked to negative events; it can also arise from major life changes such as moving, changing careers, getting married, or the birth of a child.
